QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Science or equivalent job experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, MAC, Chrome and iOS Operating Systems
- Basic Microsoft Windows Active Directory user management
- Experience with Chromebook setup and hardware repair required
- Google Certified Educator Level 1 and 2
- Two (2) years of experience with personal computers (PC) and mobile device repair
- Must have excellent customer service skills
REPORTS TO: Director of Technology Operations
JOB GOAL: To provide computer and mobile device repair service and basic network system administration tasks. Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair system hardware and software.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate personal computer and mobile device software and hardware issues. Run diagnostic programs to decide if the issue is software and/or hardware related.
- Test and replace electronic components; add peripherals and expansion boards.
- Troubleshoot, repair and configure local and network printers.
- Setup and configure new computer systems and mobile devices for end users.
- Perform general network related support and troubleshooting for end users.
- Troubleshoot and repair software issues, including operating systems and third party software.
- Have knowledge and ability to use imaging software.
- Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing and troubleshooting audio and video equipment.
- Provide own transportation for service calls. (Standard mileage reimbursement for personal car usage will apply according to PCSSD’s Business Procedure Manual.)
- Provide preventative maintenance for all computers and mobile devices.
- Assist Instructional Technology as needed or required
- Maintain certification/qualification requirements for Self Maintainer Programs and order warranty parts.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary Range: Range 16 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($19.00/hr. - $33.52/hr. depending relevant experience)
Length of Contract: 244 contract days
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Personnel Status: Classified
