Job Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switches across campus and branch
- Support and administer Cisco Nexus platforms within core and data center networks
- Manage Cisco ASA, Firepower Threat Defense, and FMC for policy changes, upgrades, access control,
- Configure routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP on Cisco ISR platforms
- Assist with network upgrades, cutovers, and migrations
- Perform packet captures, path analysis, firmware reviews, and configuration checks for rapid issue
- Implement security best practices across network infrastructure
- Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and application owners to support project
- Document configurations, changes, and standard procedures for both operational and compliance
- Provide on site or remote support for network incidents and planned maintenance activities
- Strong understanding of Cisco Catalyst platforms, including 2960 and 9200 series
- Experience with Cisco Nexus switches
- Hands on experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower Threat Defense, and FMC
- Proficient with Cisco ISR routers including the 4431 platform
- Solid knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and static routing
- Experience with network monitoring, change control, and configuration backups
- Ability to analyze complex issues and produce clear technical recommendations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams
