Description & Requirements
As part of Infor’s Hardware Operations function, the Order Entry Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, supporting both internal sales teams and external customers. This role demands precision, speed, and a deep understanding of order lifecycle processes within a dynamic, enterprise-level system.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Accurately enter and validate sales orders in compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Monitor order queues and proactively resolve any data discrepancies or processing issues.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure order accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for audit readiness and reporting purposes.
- Respond promptly to internal and external order-related inquiries with a customer-first mindset. Assist with process improvements and system enhancement initiatives related to order processing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in order entry, customer service, or sales support in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Experience enterprise software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce. Experience with contract review and basic understanding of commercial terms.
