A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Execute the development of Salesforce applications or enhancements that meet provided acceptance criteria.
- Develop applications and write code using Visualforce & Lightning Components, Apex Controllers, Triggers, test classes, SOQL, Flows and Callouts following SSDLC standards.
- Perform technical analysis, design, configuration, and provide tier 3 support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations.
- Work in collaboration with stakeholders to collect their requirements and convert them into technical specifications and estimations of effort.
- Design solutions from inception to go-live with a rapid go-to-market mentality
- Perform data analysis to maintain and govern high quality of data stores
- Adhere to code standards in code creation, check in, review and versioning process.
- Optimize code base for performance, efficiency, and reuse
- Conduct unit testing to ensure quality delivery to the client.
- Creation of diagrams and flowcharts for delivered solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Salesforce Sales cloud development experience using Flows, Apex, Visualforce & Lightning Components, Triggers, test classes, SOQL
- Experience with SFDC administrative tasks such as creating Profiles, Roles, setting field level security, etc.
- Experience with Salesforce concepts such as use of Campaigns, Lead conversion, Opportunity lifecycle, Account & Contact management
- Agile delivery experience
- Environment management, release management, code versioning experience.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Experience using sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify cause
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree in management information systems, computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant certifications, Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform Developer preferred.
- Providing solution using out-of-the-box options or design patterns that requires minimal customization
- Custom Salesforce API integrations
- Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) and Marketing cloud
- Knowledge of Force.com, Microsoft, AWS and Service Now cloud platforms.
- Experience in other programming languages with preference towards .net, C#, Lambda
- Database development and query experience with MSSQL, Postgres, MySQL, Aurora preferred
