Position Summary
The Senior Contracts Manager – Supply Chain plays a strategic role within the Legal, Contracts, and Compliance function, acting as a key liaison between corporate clients and the Legal team. This position is responsible for drafting, negotiating, administering, and evaluating supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and managing contract-related risk.
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Supply Chain Contracts, the role partners closely with internal stakeholders and supply chain leadership to manage a complex portfolio of supplier contracts, ensuring that contractual terms align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and advisor for stakeholders on allocated projects.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage complex supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Analyze contracts and prepare detailed reports to ensure adherence to negotiated terms and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure favorable contract terms and mitigate business risk.
- Review and interpret contractual language to evaluate risk exposure and commercial impact.
- Leverage legal and technical subject matter experts to address potential risks and develop tailored contract clauses.
- Communicate contract status, risk mitigation plans, and recommendations to management and relevant departments.
- Track and report key functional metrics, supporting data-driven contract performance insights.
- Represent the organization in legal and contractual discussions related to assigned supplier agreements.
- Maintain accurate and organized historical records of all legal and contractual documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience; OR
- Advanced degree with 7–10 years of experience; OR
- No degree with a minimum of 13 years of directly related experience.
Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain contracting and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
