Job Description:
• Documenting business, functional, and technical requirements including all federal/state mandated program/technical requirements as outlined by federal/state rules and regulations;
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and document business and functional requirements, including the creation of comprehensive functional requirement documents by function;
• Coordinating with the system implementation vendor to maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix, ensuring alignment between requirements, system design, and testing;
• Defining and documenting workflows, business processes, and system interactions;
• Assisting in developing acceptance criteria for the system;
• Reviewing and validating system design with the vendor and IT team to ensure it meets business needs;
• Facilitating system demonstrations and feedback sessions with end-users and documenting their input;
• Engaging with Employer Accounts to create and manage test cases and scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
• Tracking and reporting UAT progress in collaboration with Employer Accounts and the system implementation vendor, including defect resolution and issue escalation;
• Ensuring business stakeholders understand and validate testing results;
• Supporting go-live activities by serving as a liaison between business users and the vendor;
• Documenting user feedback, system enhancements, and lessons learned; and
• Assisting in post-implementation issue resolution and system optimization efforts.
Note: Prior experience with the implementation of tax and/or financial case management systems and/or Unemployment tax experience is preferred.
