Position Overview
The HR Project Lead is responsible for driving large-scale, cross-functional HR initiatives that support organizational strategy, operational excellence, and workforce effectiveness. This role collaborates with HR leadership, clinical teams, and enterprise stakeholders to plan, execute, and sustain impactful HR projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-level HR projects
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, resources, and deliverables
- Oversee multiple concurrent initiatives across matrixed teams
- Ensure alignment with organizational priorities
2. HR Process Standardization & Improvement
- Standardize HR processes, tools, and documentation
- Develop templates, playbooks, and best practices
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Legal, and operations teams
- Work effectively in a matrix environment
- Facilitate governance, steering committees, and escalations
4. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and insights
- Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
- Present actionable insights to leadership
5. Change Management & Communication
- Support change management strategies and adoption
- Develop communications and leadership presentations
- Guide teams through organizational changes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years of experience leading enterprise-level projects
- Experience working in matrix organizations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage both technical and non-technical projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Certification preferred: PMP, Agile, Prosci, or SHRM
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience in healthcare or academic medical environments
- Expertise in HR analytics and reporting
- Familiarity with HRIS tools (Workday, PeopleSoft, Visier)
