Payrate: $2500 to $2800 per week
Shift: 12 hour day shift
Duration: 13 weeks
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, including those recovering from cardiac surgery, catheterization procedures, or experiencing acute cardiac events.
- Monitor vital signs, interpret complex physiology data, and utilize advanced EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner to document patient assessments accurately.
- Administer medications including IV infusions, pain management treatments, and specialized therapies such as botulinum toxin treatments when applicable.
- Assist with invasive procedures such as catheterizations, tube feedings, ventilator management, and sterile dressing changes using aseptic technique.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and laboratory specimen collection/processing, ensuring adherence to infection control standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for patients with complex needs such as dementia or developmental disabilities.
Requirement:
- Must have 1 years of CVICU and Pediatrics
- Must have active RN license
- Must have BLS and PALS certificate
Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,800.00 per week
