Job Description
Coordinate and support institute-related operational activities. this role is responsible for supporting overall operations by optimizing administrative infrastructure and fostering an efficient professional environment. will collaborate with staff to establish, maintain, and execute key initiatives while managing project planning, implementation, evaluation, scheduling, coordination, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute project work plans and adjust timelines to meet changing priorities.
Monitor project status, assist with data collection, and prepare project documentation.
Manage project timelines and support communication with faculty, staff, and community partners.
Coordinate travel arrangements, event planning, office supply orders, invoice processing, and reimbursements.
Submit scientific manuscripts, proofread and edit documents, maintain social media and online content, and manage phone and email correspondence.
Build and maintain activity records for publications, grant applications/awards, research projects, community outreach initiatives, and clinical services.
Track administrative initiatives and prepare reports and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Experience working in an administrative environment.
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
Experience in a university or higher education environment is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with WordPress (or similar web design software), REDCap, Adobe Creative Suite, or Workday is preferred.
Research support experience including CV/biosketch updates, grant writing, figure and table formatting, document review, and presentation development is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Public Health or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience.
