What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Engineer (Standard) position at Infogain?
Roles & Responsibilities
This position is for Network Engineer.
Conceptualize, build, and maintain tools to support corporate network infrastructure.
Proactively plan for new PoP deployments including space, power, and network routing.
Work with cross functional teams to organize requirements, design, deploy and provision all infrastructure components.
Develop queries and scripts to extract data from network management tools, analyze, and transform in order to visualize accurate depiction of all infrastructure components.
Perform data integrity analysis across multiple data sources and execute scripts for cleaning up data that does not meet business rules.
Logical and physical asset remediation by partnering with field engineers to physically validate infrastructure components at remote locations combined with logical system fixes.
Develop programs to routinely synchronize data between multiple data sources and maintain business rules.
Proactively find gaps, come up with the execution plan and drive projects to completion and influence team members to reach project goals.
Support field engineers during maintenance activities involving network and optical infrastructure.
Develop and build Cloud infrastructure to host some important services.
Available for on- call on a rotational basis.
Help to make the people around you move faster by identifying issues slowing the team down and driving changes to address them and align on internal tooling efforts.
Job Requirements: Required Master’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, CIS, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field. Travel may be required to various unanticipated client sites throughout the US.
Location of Work: Infogain Corporation, 5550 Granite Parkway, Suite 100, Plano, TX 75024.
Salary Range: $113,714/Year to $130,000/Year.
