Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced wound care and primary care in a busy medical group practice.
About the Role
You will independently assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions, perform wound procedures (including debridement, NPWT, compression), and lead patient education and care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive wound care and primary care, including ordering and interpreting labs/diagnostics and prescribing treatments.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans and document accurately in the EMR.
- Supervise and mentor nurses/medical assistants and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Master’s/post-master’s/doctoral degree in Nursing and national NP certification.
- Active NP license, DEA; wound care certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
- Minimum 2 years NP experience; wound care and primary care/family medicine experience preferred.
