Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop optical systems and components for advanced technology platforms
- Perform optical simulations, modeling, and analysis
- Work on optical signal processing, photonics, and imaging systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and system engineers
- Conduct testing, validation, and performance optimization of optical modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve optical and system-level issues
- Support product development lifecycle from design to deployment
- Document designs, test results, and technical specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Optical Engineering
- Photonics
- Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of:
- Optical system design & analysis
- Photonics and fiber optics
- Laser systems and imaging technologies
- Experience with:
- Optical simulation tools (e.g., Zemax, Code V, Lumerical)
- High-speed optical communication systems
- Understanding of:
- Signal integrity and optical performance metrics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor or wireless communication industry
- Knowledge of:
- AR/VR optics, camera modules, or display technologies
- Exposure to high-speed data transmission and optical interconnects
