π Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Embedded Hardware Design Engineer to lead end-to-end hardware development for FPGA/SoC-based systems. The role includes architecture definition, schematic capture, PCB reviews, high-speed board bring-up, debugging, compliance testing, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.
π Key Responsibilities
Hardware Development
- Lead architecture and system-level hardware design.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB reviews, and documentation.
- Drive board bring-up and system validation.
System Integration & Debugging
- Troubleshoot high-speed signal and power integrity issues.
- Perform board-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
Testing & Compliance
- Execute DVT/PVT testing and reliability validation.
- Ensure EMI/EMC-compliant design and manage certification processes.
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors.
- Support procurement and ensure DFM compliance.
Sustenance Engineering
- Handle RMA debugging, issue analysis, and redesign for compliance/obsolescence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with firmware, mechanical, test, and product teams for seamless integration.
π Technical Skills
- Tools: Allegro, Altium
- Interfaces: USB, BLE, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, CAN, PCIe
- Lab Tools: Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators
π Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Electronics/Electrical/Communication Engineering (or related).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
