Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with a strong Java development background to bridge business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to analyze requirements, design system solutions, and support Java-based enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Java development teams
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Support application design, development, testing, and implementation
- Assist in system enhancements, defect analysis, and production support
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews
- Ensure solutions align with business goals and technical standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of Java/J2EE-based applications
- Experience working closely with developers and technical teams
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on Java development experience in earlier roles
- Experience with REST APIs, SQL, and enterprise systems
- Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
- Financial services or enterprise domain experience is a plus
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience in UAT coordination and support
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
