Job Title: Senior EDI Developer || Indianapolis, IN || Hybrid

Summary:
Manage end-to-end EDI claims processing lifecycle, ensuring accurate data exchange, compliance, and system integration in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and document EDI and claims processing workflows

  • Develop technical specifications and support system enhancements

  • Act as SME for EDI during system modernization (.NET)

  • Test systems and resolve EDI/data transmission issues

  • Support providers, clearinghouses, and onboarding activities

  • Collaborate with PMs, developers, and business teams

  • Provide helpdesk support for EDI transactions

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of EDI formats (835, 837, 210)

  • Database/SQL knowledge

  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations

  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • IBM WebSphere (WTX) knowledge

  • Experience with claims processing systems
