Job Title: Data Scientist || Indianapolis, IN || Remote

Summary:
Analyze complex data and build data-driven solutions to generate insights, support decision-making, and improve public health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets and apply statistical/ML techniques

• Develop prototypes, dashboards, and data-driven applications

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions

• Optimize data architecture, ETL processes, and reporting

• Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance

• Build and maintain data pipelines and code repositories (GitHub)

• Create visualizations and communicate insights effectively

• Support and enhance existing data solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s 2 years / Master’s / 4 years experience

• Strong programming in Python, R, SQL

• Knowledge of statistics (regression, distributions, tests)

• Experience with machine learning techniques

• Strong data manipulation and analytical skills

• Experience with dashboards/web apps (Shiny, Dash, Flask, Streamlit)

Preferred:

• Experience with geospatial data, Docker, Kubernetes, Neo4j

• Strong visualization and stakeholder communication skills

• Experience in mentoring or leading data initiatives
