\n- Designs and defines system architecture for Windows desktop solutions and client- based applications
- Supports the integration of the Windows desktop with a variety of enterprise services
- Evaluates desktop software and hardware technologies and determines the most efficient method to leverage the technology within the customer’s network environment.
- Administer, operate, manage and maintain components for Windows desktop deployments to include virtual and thick client environments.
- Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients
- Plans and directs upgrades of Windows desktop operating system version(s) and supporting infrastructure and related components.
- CompTIA Security or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification.
- Active TS/SCI and CI Polygraph
- MECM / MCM packages experience as well as vast knowledge in OSD (O/S Deployment), MDT (Microsoft deployment toolkit) and Intune.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop design engineering and implementation options.
- Experience with Microsoft deployment tools to include Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
- Experience with engineering and deploying client software installation packages for Microsoft Windows desktops (physical and virtual).
- Experience with Application Virtualization to include, Citrix XenApp, Citrix App Layering, Microsoft APPV, and MSIX App Attach.
- Experience with maintaining Windows desktop systems for mobile users on laptop hardware.
- Experience with anti-virus and malware product integration within a Windows desktop configuration and remediation.
- Rapid software fix deployment for desktops and servers
- Experience with managing Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DFS, DNS, DHCP, and VMware Dynamic Environment Manager.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows automation scripting with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Experience with managing and updating work tasks using ServiceNow.
- Experience with maintaining system security compliancy following DISA STIGs.
- 5 years experience
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 4 additional years of experience in information technology.
- Active DoD TS/SCI
