Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
Must maintain Infirmary Health Sterile Compounding and Aseptic Technique Pathway Plus one of the following:
- Infirmary Health Hazardous Drug Handling and Chemotherapy Compounding Pathway
Completion of the PTCB Compounding and Sterile Preparation Technician Certification (CSPT)
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Current registry with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Responsibilities:
Facilitates operational efficiencies by providing assistance to pharmacists through procuring, processing, and distributing information and pharmaceuticals. Prepares sterile compound products including Intravenous and/or Chemotherapeutic medications.
