Manufacturing Production Supervisor

This isn’t a desk job. The Production Supervisor owns the floor - driving safety, pace, and accountability every minute of the shift. The right leader thrives in controlled chaos, keeps their head when things go sideways, and pushes the team to win together. This role is about action: leading from the front, keeping product moving, and coaching people in real time to hit numbers without ever cutting corners on safety or quality.

Requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Run the floor - lead the crew, protect the filler, and keep production flowing.

· Lead pre-shift huddles to set tone and targets; close with clear pass-downs and accountability.

· Maintain constant presence on the line - see problems before they happen and move fast to fix them.

· Cross-train and flex manpower as needed so the line never stops.

· Enforce safety instantly. If something’s unsafe, it stops - no exceptions.

· Partner with Maintenance, QC, and Planning to stay ahead of issues and minimize downtime.

· Coach operators and leads on the floor - correct, teach, and build confidence in the moment.

· Track performance daily: OEE, downtime, labor efficiency, and safety actions.

· Drive 6S and visual organization so every line runs clean, safe, and ready for audit.

· Support hiring, onboarding, and evaluations for production employees.

· Build a culture of urgency, pride, and teamwork - nobody stands still, and everyone helps each other win.

· Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals.

· Reliable, energetic, and built for a high-tempo manufacturing environment.

· Willing to work overtime and flex schedule as production demands.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience leading in manufacturing.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of production leadership in a high-volume or high-mix environment. Must show a track record of coaching teams, driving flow, and performing under pressure.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Standing and walking for long periods.

· Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

· Working safely in active production areas.

Summary

Shift: 2nd Shift Opportunity
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM – 3:00 AM
This position offers a predictable weekday schedule, allowing for daytime flexibility. Occasional Saturdays may be available based on business needs and will provide additional earning opportunities.
