About Us:
Infinity Solar USA is one of the fastest-growing solar installation companies in the nation. As we expand our presence in Pennsylvania, we are actively seeking a Electrician with experience in residential solar installations to join our team in the Altoona area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, retrofit, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems, including:
- Solar PV systems (required)
- Battery storage systems
- EV chargers
- Panel and service upgrades
- Branch circuits for remodels and new construction
- Install wiring, circuits, disconnects, and meters per NEC and Washington State code
- Upgrade load centers and safely decommission outdated systems (e.g., knob and tube)
- Perform on-site system evaluations and inspections for code and safety compliance
- Read and interpret single-line diagrams, blueprints, and site plans
- Supervise and train Electrical Apprentices as needed
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Follow all safety and regulatory protocols at job sites
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of residential solar installation experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of the NEC and Pennsylvania electrical code
- Physically able to lift 50–75 lbs regularly and work in various conditions (climbing, crawling, stooping, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
