Job Responsibilities

• Treat patients in an outpatient physical therapy setting under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Carry out established treatment plans and progress interventions as appropriate within the plan of care
• Utilize therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy techniques, gait training, balance training, and functional activity progression
• Help improve patient mobility, strength, balance, pain levels, and overall function
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety, body mechanics, and long-term wellness
• Document patient treatment, response, progress, and functional outcomes accurately
• Communicate patient progress and concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant License required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the supervising PT and clinical team
• Passion for helping patients improve function and quality of life

Preferred, But Not Required

• Outpatient orthopedic experience
• Manual therapy experience
• Experience with therapeutic exercise progression
• New graduates welcome — mentorship available
