We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Assembly team member to join our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling products efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products on the manufacturing line using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the facility
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and work instructions to ensure product quality and consistency
- Conduct routine inspections of assembled items to identify defects or issues early in the process
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards and manufacturing protocols
- Assist in loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets while adhering to safety guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing environment, especially within an assembly line setting
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment effectively
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and safety standards
- Ability to read technical diagrams, work instructions, and blueprints accurately
- Strong attention to detail combined with good manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and improving processes
