What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at Infinity Engineering Consultants, LLC?
Infinity Engineering Consultants is seeking candidates for a Full-Time, experienced (6-15 years) Electrical Engineer. Experience in the design of industrial facilities, such as petrochemical processing plants and storage facilities is a must. Experience in the design of commercial buildings is a plus.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of design packages for engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Preparation of bid packages for requesting proposals for construction.
- Experience in electrical power systems
- Development of one-line diagrams
- Development of schematic diagrams
- Perform short-circuit, relay coordination and arc-flash studies
- Must be fluent in the use of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word and other common computer programs.
- Completion of design tasks in accordance with accepted engineering practices and standards.
- Coordination of design activities other disciplines and the project manager.

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)
License/Certification:
- Registered with the Louisiana Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (LAPELS) as either a PE (preferred) or as an EI (required)
