What You'll Do
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will lead projects from concept through construction while collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver innovative building system designs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead electrical engineering projects from planning through construction completion.
- Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Perform engineering calculations, code analysis, and quality reviews.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project team members.
- Attend client meetings and represent the electrical engineering discipline during project coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Minimum 9 years of experience in an Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design for buildings.
- Experience managing moderate to complex engineering projects.
- Knowledge of construction costs and life-cycle analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and project schedules.
