What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jewelry Assembler/ Office Assistant - Part Time position at Infinity Collection?
We are an online handmade jewelry company looking for a Jewelry Production Assistant to join our team immediately.
This position includes jewelry assembly, engraving personalized jewelry, packaging orders, and helping with daily production tasks. Previous jewelry making or engraving experience is not required. We are happy to train the right person. However, this role does require strong attention to detail, patience, and the ability to work carefully with small items.
This is a temporary position from April through June, with the possibility of becoming a regular position. Mondays are required. Hours are currently 15 to 30 hours per week.
The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, detail oriented, and enjoys hands on work. We are looking for someone who is somewhat crafty, willing to learn, able to meet deadlines, and happy to jump in wherever help is needed.
Daily responsibilities may include:
- Jewelry assembly using pliers and other small hand tools
- Engraving personalized jewelry items
- Checking orders carefully for spelling, names, dates, and design details
- Preparing products for fulfillment
- Helping coworkers with production tasks as needed
- Keeping the workspace organized and efficient
