Role Overview
As a Deployment Specialist, you’ll coordinate end-to-end deployment readiness for healthcare workers headed to the US. You’ll manage everything from document preparation and pre-approval readiness to cultural preparation and then help with arrival and settlement planning—including flights, hotel coordination, and housing transition support. You’ll also provide friendly customer care follow-up after arrival.
Key Responsibilities
· Own deployment preparation from onboarding through arrival settlement planning
· Coordinate and track time-sensitive readiness milestones and next steps
· Support document preparation and ensure accuracy and completeness
· Help candidates prepare for pre-approval steps (as required by the program/client)
· Provide cultural and workplace readiness support so candidates feel prepared
· Coordinate logistics including flight scheduling, arrival-day hotel planning, and housing transition support
· Ensure candidates understand timelines, arrival instructions, and work requirements
· Deliver high-touch customer care before departure and after arrival
· Track deployment status, confirmations, and action items in an organized system
· Proactively identify issues (missing items, delays, unclear steps) and help resolve them quickly
Required Qualifications / Skills
· Highly organized and time-conscious with strong attention to detail
· Ability to coordinate multi-step, time-sensitive processes
· Experience preparing and managing documentation (or similar detail-based workflows)
· Strong customer support mindset—kind, responsive, and professional communication
· Ability to coordinate logistics such as travel plans and temporary/transition accommodations
· Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain next steps confidently
· Reliable tracking and follow-through on action items
· Problem-solving mindset when requirements change or something is missing
· Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
· Experience in healthcare recruiting, staffing operations, credentialing, or candidate coordination
· Familiarity with document/immigration-style workflows (a plus)
· Experience supporting relocation or housing/travel coordination
· Experience in case management or candidate onboarding workflows
· Bilingual or Multilingual skills are a plus
