Essential Job Duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Clean client vehicles after service by using our automatic car wash, vacuum the vehicle, brush prep the front and rear of the vehicle and then run the vehicle through.
- Wipe down drip marks from the mirrors, door handles, as well as the rear glass.
- Be observant and avoid washing vehicles with safety concerns and/or when washing could worsen existing damage ie. windshield damage or exposed wiring.
- Proactively communicate potential issues with customers, management and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience
- Make every effort to ensure high Manufacturer customer satisfaction survey scores
- Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic communication, problem-solving skills and mathematical skills using American units of measure.
- High school diploma or the equivalent and authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
- All applicants must have a current and valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and must be insurable.
Other Requirements:
Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in the Dealership’s normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable); in-person interviews and other inquiries.
- Physical demands include: constantly move and position body to traverse multi-level Dealership property and various terrain; move in order to retrieve cars from parking lot; detect and identify vehicle issues and safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 20lbs occasionally, 10lbs frequently); operate tools and equipment; repetitive motion.
- Work is conducted inside, outside, on public and private roadways, and in proximity to moving vehicles and equipment in a shop environment with potential exposure to loud *noises and various industrial *chemicals.
