Service Valet Responsibilities

• Facilitate Loaner Vehicle process with Advisors and Clients
• Utilize Loaner Vehicle software program (TSD) to issue and monitor loaner usage
• Perform audits to maintain inventory and vehicle location verification
• Notify Advisors of adverse loaner condition or extensive time on loan
• Report to Service Manager, any misuse or damage to loaners
• Provide and promote the Subaru Love Promise at every available opportunity with clients and staff
• Warmly welcome and greet all service clients in a timely manner in the main service drive. You are our ambassador; your charm is clearly evident in everything you do and/or say.  Maintain a professional personal appearance and work space
• Actively listen to our clients and their needs and interpret body language and tone in order exceed client’s expectations
• Engage in the process to make our dealership better for our clients and our co-workers
• Proactively communicate potential issues with customers, management and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience
• High Manufacturer customer satisfaction survey scores is a must
• Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be insurable under our Garage-Keepers insurance requirements and maintain insurability during employment.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret, and carry out: simple instructions, short correspondence furnished in written, oral, schedule, or diagram form.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.   
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.  

• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

• Ability to use technology to carry out daily tasks. 
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals in American units of measure.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

• Physical demands include: constantly position body and move in order to greet clients and inspect vehicles, detect and identify vehicle issues and shop safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 20lbs occasionally, 10lbs frequently); operate equipment; repetitive motion
• Work is conducted inside, outside, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, mechanical equipment, with occasional exposure to chemicals, and moderate to loud noise levels.
