Training Coordinator

In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our mining and mineral processing operations by coordinating employee training, managing regulatory compliance requirements, and driving workforce development initiatives. You'll collaborate with leaders across the business to ensure our employees are equipped with the skills and training they need to work safely, confidently, and effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Training Coordinator, you'll:
- Coordinate and schedule new hire onboarding, job-specific training, safety training, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and employee qualifications while monitoring renewal and expiration dates.
- Partner with supervisors and the Health & Safety team to identify training needs and develop effective training plans.
- Support the development and administration of process-specific training programs for operations, maintenance, and technical teams.
- Coordinate workforce development initiatives, including apprenticeship programs, technical training pathways, and grant-funded training opportunities.
- Ensure workforce development programs meet reporting requirements, funding obligations, and regulatory deadlines.
- Build strong relationships with employees, leaders, educational institutions, workforce agencies, and external training providers.
- Research and coordinate external instructors and training vendors to support operational and compliance needs.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, attendance records, and supporting documentation.
- Produce reports on training completion, certifications, and compliance status.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining accurate and organized training documentation.
- Continuously improve training processes and help strengthen our learning culture.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience maintaining accurate records and tracking compliance requirements.

- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Experience coordinating safety training, apprenticeship programs, workforce development initiatives, or working in industrial, manufacturing, mining, or similar environments is highly valued.
Work Environment
This position combines office-based administrative work with regular time spent in laboratory and mineral processing environments. You'll occasionally work around operating equipment and varying environmental conditions, including stairs, uneven terrain, dust, noise, changing weather, and industrial processes.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
