Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Vice President (SVP), Salesforce nCino Platform Owner to lead the vision, governance, and execution of our enterprise Salesforce and nCino ecosystem. This executive will own the platform roadmap, drive digital transformation across lending and banking operations, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
The SVP will act as the ultimate accountable leader for platform performance, scalability, regulatory compliance, and innovation across commercial, small business, and retail banking lines.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Strategy
- Define and execute the enterprise roadmap for Salesforce and nCino platforms aligned to business growth and digital strategy
- Serve as the executive owner of platform governance, scalability, performance, and lifecycle management
- Drive adoption of platform capabilities across lending, onboarding, underwriting, and servicing
Business & Technology Alignment
- Partner with executive leadership across Lending, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Compliance to translate business priorities into platform solutions
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams
- Ensure solutions support regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, audit readiness)
Delivery Oversight & Execution
- Oversee end-to-end delivery including architecture, integrations, data migration, and release management
- Lead large-scale transformation programs including core system integrations and digital lending initiatives
- Ensure successful execution using Agile and DevOps best practices (e.g., CI/CD, automated testing)
Platform Governance & Risk Management
- Establish governance frameworks including design standards, security controls, and change management
- Ensure data integrity, platform security, and compliance with internal and external regulations
- Manage platform risk, audit findings, and remediation efforts
Vendor & Ecosystem Management
- Own relationships with strategic partners including Salesforce, nCino, and system integrators
- Evaluate and manage third-party tools (e.g., Copado, MuleSoft, data platforms)
- Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance and SLAs
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead high-performing teams across product management, engineering, architecture, QA, and support
- Establish a product-centric operating model with clear ownership and accountability
- Mentor senior leaders and drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in technology leadership, with significant experience in financial services or banking
- 7 years of experience with Salesforce, including deep knowledge of nCino Bank Operating System
- Proven experience owning enterprise platforms at a director, VP, or SVP level
- Strong understanding of lending processes (commercial, consumer, SBA) and banking operations
- Experience with integrations (e.g., APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft), data migration, and cloud architecture
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Copado or similar release management platforms
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and other Salesforce industry clouds
- Knowledge of core banking systems (e.g., Jack Henry, FIS, Fiserv)
- Experience with regulatory and compliance frameworks in banking
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
