Role Overview


The Client Operations Specialist is responsible for the technical and operational execution behind Infinite Giving’s client experience.


This role is responsible for the precise execution of all client operational workflows, from support tickets and money movement to account setup and audits. You ensure that work is completed accurately, on time, and with care, protecting both donor funds and nonprofit trust. 

Success is defined by reliable systems, clear documentation, and zero-error execution. You ensure that work is completed accurately, efficiently, and with care, particularly when handling donor funds and nonprofit assets.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in detail, and taking ownership of complex workflows. You will partner closely with the Client Success Specialist to deliver a high-quality client experience and help build scalable operational systems as the company grows.


Core Responsibilities


Client Support & Issue Resolution

Manage inbound client support through Intercom and email, handling 50 weekly tickets that often require multi-step technical and relational solutions. Resolve issues related to money transfers and wire movements, investment strategy changes, account setup or configuration errors, and donor or nonprofit user education. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and zero-error execution when handling financial workflows, and communicate clearly and kindly with nonprofit leaders who may not have financial or technical expertise.


Onboarding & Implementation Execution

Execute the technical components of client onboarding, including account setup, donation flows, investment access, and internal system configuration. Validate setups before and after go-live, identify risks early, and proactively course-correct as needed. Maintain onboarding documentation and internal checklists to ensure consistency and quality.


Account Maintenance & Accuracy

Conduct regular account audits and reviews to ensure systems are clean, accurate, and aligned with client expectations. Maintain detailed internal notes, documentation, and follow-through to prevent errors, reduce rework, and support continuity of service.


Systems, Tools & Process Improvement

Operate confidently across Infinite Giving’s tech stack, including Slack, Google Workspace, Intercom, Linear, CRM, and internal financial systems. Quickly learn new tools and workflows, document processes, and surface opportunities to improve speed, reliability, and scalability as client volume grows.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys being close to the work - solving problems, managing details, and ensuring complex workflows are executed accurately and thoughtfully. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and moving quickly without becoming reactive. Experience in fintech, financial operations, or complex support environments is a strong fit, particularly if you take pride in doing important work carefully and well.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 3 years of experience in operations, support, client success, or account management within fintech, SaaS, payments, or financial services
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex, multi-step workflows with precision
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort navigating multiple tools simultaneously
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and work with urgency
  • Clear written communication and calm, kind client interaction
  • Comfort working in a startup environment with evolving processes


Strongly Preferred

  • Experience with fintech platforms, investment systems, or financial operations
  • Experience working with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations
  • Experience handling sensitive financial transactions or compliance-adjacent workflows
