Role Description This full-time Electrician role is an on-site position based in Fort Myers, FL. The Electrician will perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades, including wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and other electrical components. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting system failures, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring work complies with local codes and safety standards. The Electrician will interact with homeowners to explain findings, discuss options, and support up-front pricing and clear communication. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, completing documentation accurately, and collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electricity and Electrical Work for residential systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles as they apply to residential installations.
- State-recognized electrician license or certification (or ability to obtain, as required by Florida regulations).
- Proven experience as a residential electrician, preferably in service-oriented environments.
- Thorough understanding of NEC codes, local electrical regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to transparency and respect.
- Physical ability to perform job tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces, with appropriate safety measures.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Fort Myers and SWFL area.
