Summary
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
- Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate staff
- Replenish supplies and maintain housekeeping equipment
- Support facility readiness for inspections and surveys
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control practices
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required
