Position Title: Technical Writer
Location: Atlantic City, NJ
Job Complexity and Knowledge:
- Track, receive, verify, process, and prepare for publication, contractor deliverables.
- Prepare technical and administrative publications and presentations generated by or for TSL staff in accordance with guidelines.
- Conduct technical writing and editing to include preparing, writing, editing, rewriting, and processing regulatory documents and technical reports.
- Update and Maintain an archive of all TSL technical and administrative records including a means for cataloging and retrieving all records; and tracking, storage and retrieval of historical information associated with engineering and scientific research, development, testing, studies, and related activities.
- Maintain meta data (a set of data that describes and gives information about other data) associated with all TSL technical and administrative records, including but not limited to records of authorship, review, and distribution (at and after the time of publication).
- Conduct literature reviews and market surveys.
- Develop briefings and presentation packages for delivery/presentation to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide administrative support to staff in the areas of, but not limited to, document management, records management procedures, and additional administrative resource initiatives.
- Serve as the records management custodian and perform the functions associated with that delegation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
