Job Overview
Our client's Database Infrastructure Operations team builds and supports the physical infrastructure required to deploy enterprise-grade database systems. This includes hardware provisioning, network configuration, security, DBMS installation and configuration, application connectivity, and platform availability. The team works across Oracle, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MemSQL, and more, with a strong emphasis on cross-team collaboration and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain database infrastructure across production, staging, and development environments
- Perform installation, upgrade, maintenance, performance tuning, backup, and recovery for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Configure database parameters, manage users, and assign privileges
- Apply grid and database patches across Oracle 12c, 19c, and 23AI versions
- Work with Oracle Data Guard and Golden Gate technologies in live environments
- Support high-priority, high-paced database operations
