Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with hands-on expertise in GFACS (Rockwell-based) to support an onsite engagement in Brookville, OH. The selected candidate will interface controls and PLC systems with autonomous machines on the production floor. This is a 1st shift position with some overtime expected. Expenses are covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface controls/PLC systems with autonomous machines on the floor
- Apply GFACS standards in a manufacturing environment
- Troubleshoot and configure Rockwell PLC systems
- Support controls integration activities throughout the engagement
Required Skills
- Prior experience with GFACS/FACS (Rockwell-based) — mandatory
- Strong proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs
- Rockwell PLC programming and configuration
- Experience interfacing controls with autonomous machinery
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a GM manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with automated/autonomous production systems
