RN Telemetry

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.

Duration: 05/17/2026 – 08/15/2026

Shift: Day rotators may rotate between 7a–7p, 11a–11p, or 7p–7a. Night shifts do not rotate. Rotation frequency is low

Job Description:

1. Unit Overview: 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg Unit. Private unit admitting all other medical overflows.
2. Census: 32 total beds
3. Floating: Travelers are required to float to other applicable units when requested
4. Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
5. Skills Required: Med/Surg RN with neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency; ability to interpret Tele Strips
6. Clinician-to-Patient Ratio: Day/Eve 1:4 (may go up to 5); Night 1:5–6
7. Patient Population: Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, fractures, neuro patients, and other medical overflow
8. Bed Count: 32
9. EMR: EPIC
10. Certifications Required: Current Massachusetts RN License, BLS (ACLS preferred)
