Job Title: Cloud Administrator / Cloud SME
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months of Contract
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have experience managing, supporting, troubleshooting, and securing cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
Required Skills:
• Strong AWS administration experience with EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, and Route53
• Strong Azure administration experience with Azure VMs, VNets, Azure AD, Storage Accounts, Azure Monitor, and Key Vault
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking including VPC/VNET, VPN, Routing, Firewalls, Security Groups, NACLs, and Load Balancers
• Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, cloud security, and access management
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Experience with monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery (DR), and high availability (HA)
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and production support issues
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, security hardening, and best practices
• Multi-cloud experience across AWS and Azure environments
Responsibilities:
• Manage and support AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure
• Monitor cloud environments and resolve complex operational issues
• Implement security controls, IAM policies, and cloud governance standards
• Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and scripting tools
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions
• Optimize cloud performance, availability, and operational efficiency
• Act as an escalation point for cloud infrastructure and networking issues
