Job Title: Registered Nurse
Availability: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN, Weekend only
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in our infusion centers. You’ll be the compassionate bridge for our patients as they receive treatment. Your expertise will shine as you collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to enhance the well-being of those you serve.
What you’ll do
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Assist in procedures such as IV insertion, PICC line maintenance, and Port maintenance while maintaining strict adherence to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-care instructions.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition, promptly reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
Basic requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Georgia
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Available to work 1 weekend shift per month
Preferred qualifications
- Experience inserting Peripheral IV
- IV medication administration
- Experience with electronic medical Record (EMR)
- Proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and familiarity with medication administration protocols
