What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Specialist position at Infant Toddler Family Day Care?
We are hiring for the position of Child Care Specialist!
Infant Toddler Family Day Care is looking to hire a part-time (20 hours per week) Child Care Specialist to monitor and coach home-based early child care educators approved under the Infant Toddler Family Day Care state license. The Child Care Specialist will provide support and technical assistance to ITFDC system child care providers through monthly home visits and relationship building.
Some duties include: technical assistance, excellent documentation of all visits and correspondence, home safety inspections, USDA monitoring, as well as maintaining good communication between child care specialists and the office staff.
Qualifications:
- BA/MA in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Excellent data entry skills, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Home visiting experience a plus
