What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Hand 1 position at Inez Spring Riverfront RV Park?
(Includes Public Swimming Pool & On-Site Airbnb Support)
General Property Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on RV sites, buildings, and common areas
- Repair water, sewer, and electrical hookups (within skill level)
- Address plumbing issues, leaks, and minor electrical repairs
- Maintain roads, signage, fencing, and exterior lighting
- Assist with setup and teardown for events or special activities
Pool Maintenance & Cleaning
- Skim pool surface daily and remove debris
- Brush pool walls and vacuum pool as needed
- Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets
- Test pool water regularly and record chemical levels
- Add chemicals according to guidelines (if certified/trained)
- Maintain clean pool deck, furniture, and surrounding area
- Monitor pool equipment and report mechanical issues immediately
- Ensure pool area remains safe and compliant with posted regulations
Groundskeeping
- Mow, edge, and trim grass and landscaping
- Remove trash from sites and common areas
- Maintain trees, shrubs, and flower beds
- Pressure wash sidewalks, pads, and buildings as needed
- Keep dumpster areas clean and organized
Airbnb Support
- Perform maintenance repairs inside rental unit
- Ensure plumbing, appliances, and lighting are functioning properly
- Assist with inspections between guest stays
- Respond promptly to maintenance-related guest concerns
Preventative Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of park infrastructure
- Identify potential problems before they become major repairs
- Maintain maintenance logs and report supply needs
- Assist with winterization and seasonal property preparation
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and use equipment properly
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Respond to emergencies such as water leaks, power outages, or storm damage
- Help maintain compliance with local health and safety regulations
Team Support
- Work closely with management and office staff
- Maintain a professional, respectful attitude with guests
- Assist in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for all visitors
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
