What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician position at Inex Technologies?
Overview
We are looking for an engineer / technician to help us with configuration, testing, and repairs of our license plate recognition cameras and assist us in support of our customers.
- Diagnose, test and repair cameras, computers and other electronic equipment
- Prepare, pack and ship cameras, computers and other electronic equipment to customers
- Elevate any software or hardware issues to R&D team
- Set up hardware and software environments for QA and Development team
- Schedule and conduct technical support sessions with clients via phone and/or remote access software
- Log all activity in company management software such as Salesforce, Jira
- Maintain the company's IT infrastructure
Qualifications
- Degree in IT or Computer Technology
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
- Experience with computer hardware, will be an asset
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Desired: BS, A certification, Network certification
The technician will help us also with orders preparation, including assembly of mounts, packing, and shipping, keeping the inventory, answering phone calls.
We are open to experienced candidates as well as to Rutgers, NJIT, Lincoln Tech recent graduates in electronics or computer science, etc.
Note: we will consider seniors if you are open to start with us part-time or full-time now.
Must be reside near or be able to commute to our office in Wayne, NJ.
