We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience welding and assembling structural steel components while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Weld structural steel components using MIG/FCAW and/or SMAW (stick) processes
- Read and interpret structural drawings, weld symbols, and blueprints
- Fit, tack, and weld beams, columns, plates, braces, and other structural components
- Perform layout, measurement, and fabrication work as needed
- Use grinders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs
- Maintain proper weld sizes, alignment, and dimensional accuracy
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous structural steel welding experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols
- Proficiency with common welding and fabrication tools
- Ability to perform quality welds in various positions
- Experience with structural steel fabrication or erection preferred
- Welding certifications are a plus
- Ability to pass a weld test
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus
- Strong attendance and dependable work history
