Responsibilities
- Perform machine setups on CNC mills and/or lathes
- Load tooling, fixtures, and workholding
- Perform tool offsets and make minor program adjustments as needed
- Verify first article inspections and maintain quality throughout production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic machining issues
- Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
- Work closely with programming, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and efficiency
Qualifications
- 3 years of CNC machining experience
- Prior setup experience on CNC mills and/or lathes
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Experience using standard inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Experience
- Multi-axis machining experience
- Aerospace, defense, firearms, or other tight-tolerance manufacturing experience
- Experience with Fanuc-controlled equipment
- First article and in-process inspection experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $28.00 - $32.00/hr based on experience
- Work 36 hours and get paid for 40
