Saw Operator – Structural Steel Fabrication (1st Shift)
Location: Englewood, CO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $23–$25 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join a structural steel fabrication environment supporting the production of our products. This role is responsible for accurately cutting steel materials to specification and ensuring all components meet blueprint and production requirements.
This is a hands-on fabrication shop role working in a fast-paced production setting focused on structural steel processing and material preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate band saws and table saws for cutting structural steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and cut lists
- Measure, mark, and verify materials prior to cutting
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all cut steel components
- Maintain safe operation of saw equipment and follow all shop safety procedures
- Support general material handling and fabrication workflow as needed
- Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet daily output goals
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a metal fabrication or structural steel shop
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Strong proficiency with a tape measure (fractions and decimals)
- Ability to work in a production-driven environment
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience operating:
- Band saws
- Table saws (metal or industrial cutting applications)
- Experience working from cut lists or production packets
- Familiarity with general shop equipment and fabrication processes
- Forklift, Overhead Crane, or other material handling experience is a plus
