Customer Service Rep/Inside Sales

About Us:

RAM Industrial Services, LLC is a well-established distributor of industrial and municipal fluid handling products. We are currently seeking a driven and customer focused Inside Sales Representative specializing in pumps to join our team in Carrolltown, PA area.

Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting customers and sales staff by providing technical expertise, preparing accurate quotations, and ensuring smooth order processing. This position requires a strong understanding of pump systems and the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotations and follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction
• Size, select, and specify pumps and related equipment
• Analyze pump hydraulics to support proper application and troubleshooting
• Interpret customer specifications and recommend appropriate products
• Use application support tools to develop accurate proposals
• Provide technical support to customers and field sales personnel
• Prepare detailed equipment submittals
• Accurately process customer orders
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturers
• Adhere to and understand company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience with pumps and related equipment is strongly considered
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to learn and apply principles of hydraulics, pump design, and mechanical systems
• Customer service oriented and a team player
