Position Overview:
Industrial Service Corp. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Material Handler. This role works in a team environment and involves handling, packaging, and distributing materials to support production and shipping operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Distribute products and repackage freight
- Verify packing lists and deliver production materials/supplies
- Maintain inventory using RF scan system
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to work orders or customer requirements.
- Document deliveries, receipts, and product shipments
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform banding, shrink-wrapping, and other packaging tasks
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ability to routinely lift 30-50 lbs.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required
- Banding & shrink-wrapping skills
- Hand tool use, basic math, and tape measure skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work in an uncontrolled warehouse environment (hot in summer, cold in winter)
- Steel-toed shoes required
Compensation:
Pay is based on experience.
