About the Role
Industrial Power Truck & Equipment is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing Accounting team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full A/R cycle—from accurate invoicing to proactive collections and customer account management. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization while building strong internal and external relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Process daily payments including checks, ACH, credit cards, and wires
- Conduct timely and professional follow-up on past-due accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies with urgency
- Prepare and analyze A/R aging reports for management review
- Process customer credit applications and assist in setting credit limits
- Partner with Service, Parts, and Sales teams to resolve billing concerns
- Maintain complete and accurate customer records and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing tasks related to receivables
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (not required)
- 2–4 years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong understanding of A/R processes, cash application, and best practices
- Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP software
- Experience in dealership, transportation, equipment, or service industries is a plus
