Competitive Pay: $92,000.00 - $115,000.00, depending on experience.

Position Overview

As a Technical Sales Representative Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional product analysis, technical support, and training to our customers. You'll serve as their primary contact, ensuring they receive the best possible service and guidance on our product lines and systems. Your insights will help identify sales opportunities, foster customer loyalty, and support our sales team in generating new business.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site client visits to assess facility compatibility, deliver product demonstrations, analyze paint departments, and provide tailored recommendations that drive sales outcomes
• Deliver technical training and product education to customers and staff while maintaining consistent communication with prospects and existing clients through email, phone, and in-person engagement
• Develop and maintain deep expertise across multiple product lines, effectively articulating features and benefits to customers while staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and required certifications
• Collaborate with sales representatives and location managers to support team growth, contribute to training initiatives, and assist with the installation, setup, and repair of mixing systems for new and existing customers
• Champion a positive workplace culture while serving as a trusted technical resource and brand ambassador across all customer touchpoints

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent and brings at least two years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the automotive, paint, or coatings industry. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred, along with demonstrated knowledge of multiple paint lines and familiarity with industry certifications such as BASF, AKZO Nobel, AXALTA, or PBG product lines. Candidates with a high-production painting background are highly encouraged to apply, as hands-on technical expertise is a strong asset in this role. Success in this position requires strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, sound judgment when engaging with internal and external customers, and the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Candidates must be adaptable to shifting schedules and locations, comfortable working in environments involving hazardous materials, and willing to travel to customer and training sites at least 45% of the time. A valid, insurable driving record is required.
