What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Compressor Technician position at Industrial Equipment Sales & Service, Inc.?
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced mechanic/technician that will diagnose and repair, as well as perform scheduled maintenance on existing compressors in the Williston Basin. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience. Most work is withing in a 150 mile radius. MUST be a team player, self-motivated and driven. Full time position: Monday - Friday, as well as taking on-call nights/weekends rotation with other mechanics. (appx 1 week per month)
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLD
- Perform repairs, maintenance & warranty work on reciprocating and rotary screw compressors
- Trouble shoot, diagnose problems and repair per work order
- Inspect & make recommendations on further work required.
- Submit daily work orders, JSA's, time sheets, etc to service department.
- Communicate with customers.
- Maintain a clean truck and working area as well as maintaining all safety requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Electrical knowledge
- Mechanical experience required
- Basic knowledge of motors and how an air compressor runs
- Must be goal orientated, self-motivated and a team player
- Accountable - take ownership of your own actions
- Excellent problem solver
